I have the honour to transmit to Your Lordmh 3 ya
herewith seyy of a Mote dated November 30th which I have
received from Monsieur Perretti de la Rosea in reply to
the communication which I addressed to Monsieur Poincaré
en receipt of Your Lordship's despatch No. 3182 (7 3167/ 36/10) of Ostøber 17th relative to the withdrawal of foreign post offiess from China before January 1st 1923.
Your Lordship will observe that while maintaining
that the French Government have in no way modified their
intention te withdraw their post-offices from China, Monsieur
Perretti states that nevertheless the Gave rament of the
Republie are of evinies that they should defer any official notification on this subject until such time as the French
Parliament is in a position to formulate its views on the
whole of the agreements reached at Washington.
